Rosedale

Category: Private Residence

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Completion Date: 2016

Size: 18,000 square feet

Scope: Interior Architecture, Interior Design related to a renovation and restoration and Construction Management

Design Concept:

Transform and modernize the interiors of an important historical 1920’s Georgian style residence in the heart of Toronto proper while respecting the existing architectural vernacular. Existing walnut and mahogany paneling was brought back to its original splendour. Furnishing and lighting, both collectible and bespoke, reflecting sculptural form are juxtaposed against a classical architectural envelope. A neutral palette with blocks of colour was thoughtfully developed to compliment an extensive post war and contemporary art collection.
